Another storm rolling in… I love rainy season.

A gray sky completely covered by billowy clouds.

View of Kansas City from the Boulevard Beer Hall deck.

A skyline view of Kansas City right on the eve of sunset. The buildings are lit up in blue.

Playing around with bringing kansascity.social up as a Bluesky PDS. Will see how this goes over the next few days. I’m not sold on keeping this on Bluesky… I may resurrect it as a Mastodon or Lemmy instance. But I’m trying Bluesky first.

It looks like the Royals and Chiefs may now pursue different funding options separately rather than together. This makes way more sense and this is how it should have been done from the start. No more obfuscation, give it to the people straight.

Question #1 was [shot down](https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/election/article287287305.html) in Kansas City! No tax payer bailout of the billionaire class. I am so incredibly proud of my city.

I took this last November (2022) at Arrowhead Stadium. I’m really excited for September when the next season starts! 🏈

A view of Arrowhead Stadium’s field in Kansas City. The photo was taken at 1:47 PM CST from the 8th row near one of the end-zones’ 10 yard line. The crowd in front of the 8th row is facing the field and is outfitted in cold-weather clothing. Almost everyone is in bright red colors for the Chiefs. In the distance, the other side of the stadium can be seen and is bright red due to the fans and seat colors. It is a cold, crisp day with no clouds in sight.
