Using Windows in 2024 is a fucking nightmare. I logged into my PC for the first time in a while and was bombarded with full-screen feature enablement prompts, OneDrive sign in pop-ups, etc. The sign-out button is now hidden in a sub-menu. What on earth is happening.

A pretty interesting feature of Fastmail is that you can host simple websites with your own domain name with their storage feature. It’s really simple to set up and it covers TLS certs and all of that for you.

It’s going to be a long journey, but I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just not happy in the suburbs. I won’t go as far as to say that it is miserable, but it does feel like I am wasting my life out here. My next move will be to the city, and it will require about three years of preparations.

Maybe it’s just my opinion in isolation here… but the dark mode icons on iOS 18 (tinted and non-tinted) look really bad. 😬 Android’s Material You approach is way better.
