I’m performing a bit of a pivot in my exercise routine. Typically I forgo light exercise due to it not reflecting much on my health tracker. I’m going to change this. I’ll still do my big exercises, but an hour of low-resistance elliptical biking every evening is still worth doing.

Went to the “Dark Forest” near Kansas City today. It’s an event that a local gardening / landscaping company hosts every Halloween. It was awesome.

A forest at night, lit by bright red lightning. There is a group of hand crafted witch props that look like slabs of stone. The stone has glowing symbols and lettering. A forest at night backlit by bright green and blue lighting. There are hanging light strips that swoop among the trees. In the middle of the photo there is a hanging flat circular symbol. In person, this symbol changed dynamically via light projector. The forest trees as viewed by looking straight up from the trail. The tree leaves are reflecting tons of different colors from the various light protectors. It’s a very trippy sight!

I got the Type S registered with the state this weekend. Had to pay the hefty sales tax at the DMV (it’s a Missouri thing), but now it is officially mine. I need to get it ceramic coated soon!

My Acura Integra Type S parked in my driveway. It is a misty fall day.

Pretty difficult to tell this one “no” when she wheets for food.

Went to Applefest in Weston, MO today. Lots of good food and craft booths as usual. Also spotted a nice day moon.

An upward-angled photograph taken in the day of two connected brick buildings. They are old buildings from potentially the late 1800s or early 1900s. The left building is blue stained brick while the right building is natural brick color. The right building is shorter, and above it the sky can be seen. It is a clear sky, with a partial moon being visible.

Today was the day! I received my replacement work laptop and now I have two twin MacBook Pros. One for work and one for everything else. The best part about this setup is the shared docking station. Very consistent experience back and forth.

Two 14 inch M2 MacBook Pros on my desk. Both laptops are closed and are held vertically in place side by side with a special dual stand. One is in the space gray color (work) while the other is in the natural aluminum color (personal).
